In the past, you know, crowns required two dental visits at minimum. You’d wear a temporary while a lab fabricated a permanent crown. That temporary may crack or fall out, in which case you’d have to rush to the dentist’s office for help.
After trying out E4D, the one-visit or one-hour crown technology, I was hooked. This amazing technology is extremely precise. Three-dimensional imaging software allows me to customize a crown that will fit perfectly in a patient’s bite. Once the plan is generated, the computer sends it to a milling unit in our office. From a shade-matched porcelain block, the milling machine sculpts the crown, and it only takes about an hour.
So you won’t have to wear a temporary. Instead, I’ll place your permanent porcelain crown in just one visit.
